This week's challenge is SFC2614 Over The Edge

This week's challenge is called "Over the Edge."  Something on your card must extend over the edge of your card.  That could include your image, and embellishment, or even some lace.  Check out all the wonderful examples below.  We'd love for you to use a Squigglefly image, to be prize eligible it's required, but everyone is welcome to play along.

Let's start with some great examples from the Holley Hobbyists:

Pat Martin  created this lovely card in the shape using  a brand new stamp from our newest artist Norma Burnell. Don't you love how she cut out the image and placed it over the edge?  Lovely flower too.  This gorgeous stamp is called  Forest Fairy.

Jan Marshall  created this beautifully shaped card using a new image from Squigglefly artist Norma Burnell.  She added wonderful over the edge butterflies to her creation in the lightest pinks. This sweet image is called  Forest Guardian.  How sweet, don't you love the skin tone?

Elizabeth Hart designed this sweet and fashionable card using a brand new image from artist Norma Burnell.  She has beautiful lace and diecuts over the edge of her card.  How lovely.  This image is called June's Rose.

Jen Leeflang created this adorable pop up card using a beautiful image from Sandra Caldwell. This image is called Watch It Grow.  Don't you love this stair step card?  How about her punch over the edge as well as the image popping out on top?

Darlene Pavlick created this elegant card with a brand new image from brand new Squigglefly artist Norma Burnell. She's known for her stunningly detailed fairy images.  This image is called Magical Ride.  I love how this image pops right off the card.  TOO Beautiful!

Tammy Hair created this adorable card using a beautiful stamp from artist James Horvath called  Chicken Tiger.  Don't you love her gorgeous coloring on this image?  How funny is this image?  Too cute.

And lastly, I (Holley Barnhart from Holley's Blog) made a colorful card using green and gold. This fun image comes from Squigglefly artist Sandra Caldwell and is called Dizzy Gal.  Isn't she too cool? I just love her!

I hope these cards have inspired you to make a card to play along this week.  You are always welcome to play no matter what images you use, but to be eligible for the prize, please use at least one stamp from Squigglefly!

We realize that many people don't have blogs, but instead participate in our challenges using on-line galleries. We love that you are helping us spread the word about Squigglefly! However, many of the galleries require passwords and not all of us at Squigglefly belong to every gallery or group. To help us make sure we don't miss your artwork, we are asking that if you do use an online gallery that you leave us a comment on the challenge post. That way we'll be sure to have a member of the Squigglefly team who is a member of that gallery (SCS, CDAC, PCP, etc) can validate your entry.

1.) If you up-load your creation to any on-line photo galleries, please use SFC2614 for your keywords when loading your creation photo there. 1b) please leave a comment on the challenge blog post so that someone from Squigglefly can validate your entry for the prize.

2) You don't *have* to include a Squigglefly image on your creation, but in order to qualify for the prize you will need to use one! You can also combine SF images with non-SF images to qualify! Don't have one? There are several FREEBIES you can grab from the Squigglefly store, hop on over there. Those images will qualify you for the prize.

3) You have one week to complete the challenge and it will close Sunday evening. The winner will be announced at the same time the new challenge post comes up...so be sure to check back EVERY Monday to see if you are a winner!

4) Please leave a direct link to your entry in the comments below. The linking tool works sporadically and we don't want to miss your project! (No back-linking please.)
